A Little About Me:

I have been practicing in the area of family law for approximately 14 years. I have attended and testified at legislative committee hearings in Lansing, MI regarding change in Child Protective Services and Family Law.

It is no secret that I am not a fan of the Binsfield Laws here in Michigan. I wrote the FIA Game shortly after the Michigan Legislature passed it in 1998.

I also practice in the areas of criminal law, corporate and business law, and property law. Most of my criminal law practice focuses around cases related to family law and neglect and abuse cases: Criminal Child Abuse, Child Sexual Abuse, Child Abandoment, Felony Child Support. I also handle civil cases for child injuries in foster care, false arrest and false imprisonment, libel, slander, and 42 USC 1983 actions. My fees vary on these cases.

I have practiced in 55 counties across the state of Michigan.

NOTICE TO ALL CLIENTS:  Beginning February 1, 2010, my hourly fees will be reduced to $150.00 per hour due to the economic conditions here in Michigan. My retainer fees will also be reduced to help families during this Depression.  All new clients will be charged $150.00 per hour at the start of their contract.
